On May 21st, 2018, Prof. Mary MacDougall, Dean of University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry led a delegation of five members to visit Guangzhou Medical University.
In the collaboration meeting, President Wang Xinhua and Dean MacDougall gave a brief introduction of GMU and UBC respectively. Both parties explored the possibilities of further collaboration in various areas such as student exchange, summer schools, faculty training and scientific research. Both institutions shared the desire to collaborate by committing funds and resources.
