On March, 2015, President Wang Xinhua participated in the Programme for Leadership in University Management held by the National University of Singapore. The Programme covers topics of university management such as : University Governance and Global Talent Management, Internationalisation,  Scientific Research；Curriculum Reforms and Liberal Education；IT Enhanced Learning；Entrepreneurship in Academia and Higher Education in the 21st Century。The program also included visits to the labs and Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise(CREATE).

Presidents of prestigious universities such as Beijing Normal University, Nanjing University and Nankai University also joined the Programme. The Education Counsellor and Science Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Singapore attended the certificate awarding ceremony and invited all the participants to visit the Embassy.
