GMU Delegation Visits India and Nepal

Guangzhou Medical University delegation led by Professor Donghai wei, the vice president of GMU, visited Nepal and India for a 6-day visit starting on September 9th, 2015.
 
The delegation first met Mr. Devesh Laval, Deputy Secretary General of India's Ministry of Health, at his office on September 9th. Mr. Devesh Daval said that the distinguished features of our MBBS program was very impressive and pledged to support GMU graduates to attend the Screening Test for Foreign Medical Graduates in India. The delegation visited the Medical Council of India, Safdarjang Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical college, Appollo Hospital, and MGM college for the subsequent three days.
 
From September 13th to 14th, the delegation visited  Nepal Medical Council and Kathmandu Medical College in Nepal. The publicized admission meeting was successfully held on the afternoon of September 14th. Around 30 recent senior high school graduates attend the meeting. Nepal's television education channel recorded the entire meeting and interviewed Professor Wei afterwards. Local newspapers also reported the contents of the meeting.
