According to the latest ESI data (March 2019), which was updated on the evening of March 14th, Guangzhou Medical University (GMU) added new discipline, pharmacology and toxicology to the top 1% of ESI disciplines worldwide. Currently, GMU has two disciplines, clinical medicine and pharmacology & toxicology, which have entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings.
