From November 23rd to 24th, a delegation, headed by Vice President Prof. Li Jianhua of Guangzhou Medical University (GMU), conducted a fruitful visit to the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The MUST leadership, including Vice Chancellor and President Li Xingwei, provided a warm reception for the visiting GMU representatives.
During the meeting, both institutions shared insights into the recent advancements in their collaborative initiatives. They engaged in constructive dialogues, exploring opportunities to expand their cooperative horizons in key areas such as postgraduate training, joint degree programs, and the innovative "Medicine + X" talent cultivation strategy. These discussions are aimed at enriching the scope of collaboration and fostering a more integrated approach to academic and research endeavors.
The GMU delegation also took the opportunity to tour MUST's research facilities, including The State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Science. These visits highlighted MUST's commitment to excellence in research and its potential as a strategic partner for GMU in driving forward scientific discovery and innovation.
