On November 6, Prof. Carolyn Evans, Vice Chancellor and President of Griffith University (Australia), led a delegation to visit GMU. Prof. Tang Xiaoping, Chairman of of GMU, President Prof. Zhao Xincun, and Vice President Prof. Li Jianhua, met with the delegation. Heads and experts from International Office, the Department of Scientific Research, the School of Health Management, the School of Public Health, the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital and the Third Affiliated Hospital participated in the meeting. Vice President Li Jianhua presided over the meeting.

Prof. Tang Xiaoping warmly welcomed the visit of Prof. Carolyn Evans and her delegation. He said that the two universities have a good foundation for cooperation, and hoped that both sides can take this visit as an opportunity to further explore more potential of cooperation, thus expand the field of cooperation to reach greater achievements.

President Zhao Xincun and President Carolyn Evans signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of the two universities. In the future, the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in scientific research, talent development, academic exchanges, and the advancement of various disciplines.
