On October 30, the final round of the 5th Guangzhou International Friendship City University Alliance Urban Innovation Student Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully concluded at Guangzhou University. With profound professional knowledge, spcialized training and sufficient preparation, the three teams of GMU won the bronze awards in the “Start-up Group”, which demonstrated our students’ outstanding performance.
This competition was divided into two tracks, namely the "concept group" and the "start-up group", aiming to stimulate students' innovative spirit and entrepreneurial ability. Twenty five teams stood out from the fierce preliminary rounds and online semi-final rounds. They were from nine member universities, including Guangzhou Medical University, Guangzhou University, Charles Darwin University, the University of Coimbra, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Technology, Western Sydney University, Stellenbosch University, Polytechnic University of Valencia, and Durban University of Technology.
On the stage of the finals, one Gold, two Silver and three Bronze medals were awarded for each of the two tracks. These teams not only demonstrated their innovative thinking and practical skills in their respective fields, but also showed their proficiency English.
