On November 20th, Guangzhou Medical University welcomed its Class of 2024 international students with a ceremony. President Zhao Xingcun and Vice President Li Jianhua joined department heads, faculty, and new students for the event.

SHAH NOOR UL HUDA from Pakistan, a current student, shared her academic journey and advice on adapting to life at GMU, encouraging new students to excel academically and linguistically.
Professor Jiang Xiaofeng, drawing on his own international study experience, encouraged students to adapt quickly and make the most of their time at university.
Vice President Li Jianhua presented university badges to student representatives, symbolizing their new identity as GMU members.
Vice Dean Ma Xiaojie presided over the ceremony and announced the winners of the Guangdong Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students in 2024, with President Zhao presenting the awards and encouraging recipients to continue their pursuit of excellence.
