On January 11, 2025, four doctors from Guangzhou Medical University (GMU) set off for a year-long medical mission to Dominica, where they will offer their expertise at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital. The team, known as the 7th Chinese Medical Team, consists of specialists in urology, cardiovascular medicine, anesthesiology, and ophthalmology.

The doctors' mission is to share their knowledge and expertise, enhance local healthcare services, and foster long-term collaborations in their respective fields. Their work is part of a broader initiative to strengthen the global healthcare community and contribute to the development of sustainable healthcare solutions worldwide.
